Tour Overview

Upon your arrival in Qaqortoq, we’ll meet you at the dock and take a short walk to the welcoming home where the kaffemik will take place. Once there, enjoy delicious coffee, homemade bread, and cake prepared by your host. As you sit together, your host will share personal stories, insights into Greenlandic culture, and showcase artifacts like Greenland’s national costume. This authentic Greenlandic home visit lets you explore local traditions and connect deeply with the culture.

Important Details

Qaqortoq is a hilly town, so be prepared for a short 15–30 minute walk to your host’s home. The walk, guided by us, is part of the experience, offering beautiful views along the way. If walking is challenging, please contact us in advance, as we may have transportation services available.
